ADVISORY BOARD 2025/2 MEETING TOOK PLACE
The second advisory board meeting of 2025 was held on May 21, 2025, in the Mechanical Engineering Seminar Hall with the participation of industry representatives, department management, heads of divisions, and student representatives. The meeting began with the opening speech of the Head of Department, Prof. Dr. Cemal MERAN. During the meeting, information was first provided regarding the undergraduate thesis poster presentations competition and exhibition. A presentation was delivered regarding the activities of the Mechanical Engineering Department. Subsequently, information was provided on new curriculum studies, and the opinions of the advisory board members were obtained. Potential activities to strengthen the infrastructure of our Mechanical Engineering Department were discussed, and the meeting, which was highly productive, concluded with closing remarks and well wishes.

The first advisory board meeting of 2025 was held on January 3, 2025, in the Mechanical Engineering Seminar Hall with the participation of industry representatives, department management, heads of divisions, and student representatives. The meeting began with the opening speech of the Head of Department, Prof. Dr. Cemal Meran. The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Osman Nuri Ağdağ, who attended the meeting, expressed his pleasure in hosting our guests at our Faculty and shared his wishes for a productive meeting. During the meeting, information was first provided regarding the undergraduate thesis poster presentations competition and exhibition. Subsequently, the opinions and suggestions of the advisory board members regarding the current mechanical engineering curriculum and the 7+1 education model were obtained.
