Dear Visitor, Dear Student,

Welcome to the Department of Mechanical Engineering!

Our department was established nearly 50 years ago. Having started its undergraduate education within the Dokuz Eylül University Denizli Faculty of Engineering in the 1976-1977 academic year, our department joined Pamukkale University (founded in 1992) and has continued its educational activities to the present day. With its young, dynamic, and well-equipped academic staff, it is among the strongest departments in the Aegean region and even in our country. As of February 2026, our department consists of 12 Professors, 3 Associate Professors, 5 Assistant Professors, 2 Lecturers, and 7 Research Assistants. Denizli is a true student city, offering extensive accommodation, housing, and social opportunities. Our department is located on the main campus and is integrated with the city.

If you have chosen our department, you can be rest assured that you will receive an excellent education and graduate as a competent mechanical engineer. Of course, for this to happen, you must also do more than your part and invest in yourself throughout your academic life. What does this entail? It means bringing your foreign language skills to a proficient level, participating in organized events, attending courses and seminars related to your interests, learning additional software programs, gaining teamwork skills by participating in student club activities, and studying for your lessons hard—very hard!

Our department offers a distinguished undergraduate program that incorporates the fundamental components of modern engineering education, such as exchange programs, internship opportunities, and laboratory-supported applied teaching. As part of the ERASMUS program, our department provides its students with the opportunity to study abroad at partner universities every year.
