Pamukkale University Çal Vocational School hosted a highly meaningful event that brought together the esteemed names who have contributed to our school since its establishment, our professors, and our alumni whose life journeys passed through Çal.
The program, which took place with broad participation, was attended by Mr. Gündüz, the Mayor of Çal at the time who provided great support during the establishment period of our vocational school; our Founding Vocational School Manager, Prof. Dr. Ekrem KARAYILMAZLAR; Deputy Mayor of Çal, Mr. Taner TOKAÇ; one of our former managers, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih TOPALOĞLU; our academic and administrative staff, and numerous alumni and students.
Çal Vocational School from Past to Present
The opening speech of the program was delivered by our Vocational School Manager, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özkan ÖZBEK. Starting his words by welcoming the guests, Assoc. Prof. Dr. ÖZBEK provided the participants with comprehensive information about the development our school has recorded from past to present, its current physical facilities, and its educational capacity.
Following the opening speech, the administrators of the period, our former managers, professors, and students took the floor one by one. Very emotional moments were experienced in the hall during these times when memories of the founding years of Çal Vocational School were commemorated and memories about the place of the school in their lives were shared.
Plaques of Loyalty Were Presented
After the speeches, plaques of appreciation were presented to our former managers and the mayors of the period for their valuable contributions to the establishment, development from past to present, and the educational marathon of our vocational school. The importance of institutional loyalty and solidarity was emphasized once again during the plaque presentation.
Memorial Book and Sincere Conversation at Hançalar Creek
Following the emotional moments and the plaque ceremony, our alumni and guests immortalized this special day by signing our school's memorial book. Afterwards, our campus and school building were toured together, and old memories were refreshed.
After the completion of the program at the school, the participants proceeded to the Hançalar Creek Recreation Area and came together at the dinner organization held there. The event concluded with the dinner program, which took place in an atmosphere of sincere conversation and where the bonds between generations were strengthened.
As the management of Çal Vocational School, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all our guests and alumni who honored us by accepting our invitation on this meaningful day. We offer our gratitude to the Çal Municipality for their kind contributions to our event by undertaking the dinner organization at the recreation area.
