The application process has officially begun for the "Awareness Training on the Use of Digital Agriculture Technologies for Agricultural Sustainability", organized by Pamukkale University Çal Vocational School and supported under the TÜBİTAK 2237-A Scientific Educational Activities Support Program.
Coordinated by Lec. Dr. Çiğdem Elgin Karabacak, the face-to-face event will take place on July 01-03, 2026. It aims to produce innovative solutions from a digital agriculture perspective for global challenges such as climate change, conservation of natural resources, and food security.
TÜBİTAK Support for Travel, Accommodation, and Lunch Expenses
This training project, which aims to bring visionary youth who will shape agricultural production together with technology, is financially supported by TÜBİTAK. For the 15 principal participants who qualify to attend the event, travel, accommodation, and lunch expenses incurred during the training will be covered within the limits and regulations specified by TÜBİTAK. No training or registration fee will be requested from the students in this context.
Who Can Apply? (Summary of Criteria)
To increase the widespread impact of the project, participants will be selected based on objective and transparent criteria. Applicants are expected to meet the following basic requirements:
- Educational Background: Senior associate degree and undergraduate students, as well as young graduates studying in the field of agriculture at various universities.
- Academic Success and Age: Evaluations will be based on the general academic grade point average (CGPA) over a 4.00 grading system. Priority will be given to candidates who are not over 25 years old.
- TÜBİTAK Requirements: Candidates must be registered in the TÜBİTAK ARBİS (Researcher Information System) database and must not have participated in more than three trainings under the 2237-A program previously.

Candidates wishing to participate in this limited-quota training, where inter-university interaction and knowledge sharing will be at its peak, must complete their applications online no later than June 25, 2026. After this date, the application system will close, and the transcript-focused academic evaluation process will begin.
