Pamukkale University Cal Vocational School, Digital Agriculture Technologies Program academic staff members Lect. Dr. Çiğdem Elgin Karabacak and Lect. Hakan Karabacak participated in the applied training program of the international "ZEBRAS" project, conducted within the scope of the European Union Erasmus+ program.
During the training held at Isparta University of Applied Sciences, applied training sessions accompanied by presentations were delivered to the participants by Prof. Dr. Kamil Ekinci, faculty member of the Agricultural Machinery and Technologies Engineering Department, Engineer Emine Ekinci, and the project's Poland representative, Anna Krakowia.
Healthy Soils with a Zero Waste Goal
The project, whose acronym is ZEBRAS ("Sustainable Composting for a Zero Waste Future"), aims to increase environmental awareness, create healthy soils, and disseminate sustainable practices in agriculture through the innovative Bokashi method, which transforms organic waste into nutrient-rich compost.
