The 2026-2027 Academic Year Fall Semester Academic Board Meeting was held at Pamukkale University Çal Vocational School. Chaired by the School Director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özkan Özbek, the meeting was attended by the School Secretary and the academic staff.
Project and Student-Centered Educational Vision
Organized to make a strong and dynamic start to the new term, the meeting evaluated strategic goals aimed at enhancing the quality of education. Following a general analysis of the past year, the board discussed fundamental issues such as the vision for the new academic year, conducting educational activities more efficiently, improving the physical facilities of the school, and task planning for the academic staff.
One of the most important focal points of the meeting was student-centered social and academic planning. To equip students not only with theoretical knowledge but also with practical skills, it was agreed to place greater emphasis on project-based studies in the new term. In addition, while the activities of the Student Support Units—which will contribute to the multifaceted development of students—were detailed, inclusive steps to ensure the full participation of students with disabilities in educational processes were discussed in line with the "Barrier-Free Campus" (Engelsiz Kampüs) vision.
The meeting at Çal Vocational School, which is ready for the new term with its dynamic staff, concluded with wishes for a successful, innovative, productive, and student-centered academic year.
