Updated Date: 17 August 2026

A multi-center project, in which Pamukkale University (PAU) Cal Vocational School Academic Staff Member Lect. Dr. Hamid Yeşilyayla is involved as a researcher, has been entitled to receive support within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 1002 Rapid Support Program.

In the interdisciplinary project to be carried out under the coordination of Assist. Prof. Dr. Rukiye Aslan from the Ege University Institute on Drug Abuse, Toxicology and Pharmaceutical Science; experts from Ege University, PAU Cal Vocational School, and Manisa Mental Health and Diseases Hospital will work collaboratively. The main objective of the project, which was accepted by the Health Sciences Research Grant Committee (SBAG), has been determined as preventing "false negative" results encountered in probation tests during forensic processes.

Cost-Effective and Reliable Analysis with Artificial Intelligence

Cal Vocational School Academic Staff Member Dr. Hamid Yeşilyayla will lead the artificial intelligence modeling component, which is one of the most critical stages of the project. Thanks to the AI-supported decision software to be developed within this scope, it is aimed to address the sampling processes in psychoactive substance analysis more comprehensively.
