Basilica (?)

A building group at the centre of the Acropolis is noteworthy. In the fieldwork, it was understood that this was a complex consisting of multiple rooms and walls, and various additions were made in different periods. Walls built with fine dressed blocks, arches and vault details reinforced with polygonal stones, and various architectural and decorated blocks were attested in the area.

Among these blocks, the entablature elements in the Corinthian order stand out. It is not possible to determine the exact function of this building without excavations. However, based on the decoration details and architectural features, it can be said that it was built in the Roman Imperial period and was modified and continued to be used in the Byzantine period.
