“Music and Movement” Workshop

Updated Date: 23 March 2026

The “Music and Movement” workshop, organized by Pamukkale University Preschool Education Practice and Research Center, brought students together in a creative and interactive learning experience. Led by Odil Ece Ismık, the workshop focused on the role of music and movement in supporting holistic development during early childhood.

Held on Wednesday, March 25, between 15:30 and 16:30 at the Early Childhood Workshop (K1-33), the event offered participants an engaging and educational process through rhythm, body movement, and music-based activities. Throughout the workshop, various practices were implemented to enhance children’s motor skills, sense of rhythm, and creative expression.

The event once again highlighted the importance of such practices as powerful pedagogical tools that support multidimensional development in early childhood education.
