History of the Center
Pamukkale University Preschool Education Application and Research Center was established to integrate the university’s academic knowledge in early childhood education with practice, research, and community service activities. The legal framework regarding the establishment of the Center was prepared in accordance with Subparagraph (2) of Paragraph (d) of Article 7 and Article 14 of the Higher Education Law No. 2547 dated January 4, 1981. The principles regarding the operation of the Center entered into force with the “Pamukkale University Preschool Education Application and Research Center Regulation” published in the Official Gazette dated February 4, 2018, and numbered 30322.
The aforementioned regulation sets out the aims of the Center, its administrative bodies, the duties and responsibilities of these bodies, and the Center's working procedures. The Center aims to conduct scientific research in early childhood education, support pre-service teachers' practical experiences, create educational environments that support children's development, and develop projects that build bridges between the university and society.
