Pamukkale University School of Foreign Languages, based on the principles of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), aims to provide its students with effective, functional, and comprehensive foreign language skills for their academic and social lives. The SFL aims to prepare its students as individuals who can express themselves confidently, fluently and appropriately in national and international settings. With its continuously developing, qualified academic staff and strong administrative structure, the SFL prioritizes equipping its students with the four basic language skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing) through a holistic approach. In addition, it guides students in developing critical thinking, digital literacy, effective communication, and lifelong learning skills. It emphasizes taking the responsibility for students' own learning processes by supporting them to be equipped with knowledge and skills required in the modern era. Furthermore, our school supports students' general, academic, and professional foreign language development within their departments and/or programs through compulsory or elective courses offered in various foreign languages.
