General Information
TOURISM GUIDANCE undergraduate program (“First Level” in the Bologna Process Higher Education Qualifications Framework, “6th Level” in TYYÇ) is an academic and professional program that provides graduates with the qualifications to transition to professional practice areas, research areas and master’s programs that require advanced knowledge, skills and competence. Objectives
The purpose of the Tourism Guidance Department is to: -Grasp the basic concepts, events, and facts related to Tourism, Travel Management, and Tourist Guiding, and to understand the problems encountered in the sector and to develop practical solutions to these problems. -Know the service delivery processes related to the tourist guiding profession and to perform the profession in a way that ensures visitor satisfaction. -Possess basic business knowledge. -Demonstrate reading, comprehension, speaking, and writing skills in English appropriate to the sector and at the general level of European Language Portfolio C2. Demonstrate reading, comprehension, speaking, and writing skills appropriate to the sector and at least the general level of European Language Portfolio B2 in a second foreign language.
