Establishment and History of Pamukkale University Faculty of Tourism
Pamukkale University School of Tourism and Hotel Management, which forms the basis of Pamukkale University Faculty of Tourism, was changed to "Serinhisar School of Tobacco Expertise" in 2007 by the law numbered 5662 and published in the Official Gazette dated 29/05/2007 and numbered 26536, as "School of Tourism and Hotel Management" and started accepting its first students as a school in the 2009-2010 Academic Year.
The Faculty of Tourism was established upon the letter of the Ministry of National Education dated 28/3/2013 and numbered 374207, in accordance with the additional article 30 of the Law numbered 2809 dated 28/3/1983, as a result of the decision taken by the Council of Ministers on 22/4/2013, with the publication in the Official Gazette dated 16 May 2013 and numbered 28649, and started accepting students as a faculty.
