Serel Gürlek’s Solo Exhibition Titled “Suret” Opened

Serel Gürlek’s solo exhibition titled “Suret” opened on Monday, May 11, 2026, at 15:00 at the 100th Year Exhibition Hall located in Block C of Pamukkale University Faculty of Education.
In the exhibition, the artist questions the concepts of individual, identity, and representation. The notion of “suret” is explored through the relationship between light, shadow, and form. The simplicity of the visual language invites viewers to a direct intellectual confrontation.
The opening ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Feryal Beykal, Head of the Department of Fine Arts Education; Prof. Dr. Nuray Mamur, Head of the Division of Art Teaching; the curator of the exhibition, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serdal Yerli; faculty members; and students.
Curated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serdal Yerli, the exhibition has been opened to visitors.
