2024-2025 Academic Year International Student Application and Admission Calendar

June 14-30, 2024	Receiving applications via YOBIS (Applications start at 00:01 on June 14th and end at 23:59 on June 30th)
July 1-12, 2024	Completion of the preliminary evaluation of applications
July 13-21, 2024	Completion of missing information/documents by candidates via YOBIS (Transactions start at 00:01 on July 13 and end at 23:59 on July 21)
July 22-August 2, 2024	Completion of the evaluation of applications
August 9, 2024	Announcement of placement results
August 19th-September 27th, 2024	Registrations are taken (Registration starts at 19 August 08:30 Turkish time and ends at 27 September 16:59 Türkiye time)

 

Required Documents for Application:

1. International Student Application Form,

2. Turkish notarized passport or ID (validity period must not have expired as of the date of application),

3. A Turkish notarized copy of a high school diploma or a high school-level education certificate (An approved educational status certificate that they will receive from their school for students who are at the graduation stage on the application date) (The original document must also be uploaded),

4. The original TR-YÖS result document (Documents that cannot be verified are not taken into account) (Candidates who are TRNC nationality, reside in TRNC and completed their secondary education (high school) in TRNC, and candidates who enrolled in colleges and high schools in other countries between 2005-2010 must upload their GCE AL exam results.),

5. Turkish notarized copy of the transcript showing all grades obtained during high school education,

6. For those residing in Turkey, a document showing their Turkish ID number,

7. For candidates with dual nationality and Blue Card, detailed (certificate of) identity register copy (The first nationality will be taken into account. Those who have a Blue Card must upload both sides of the Blue Card),

8. Turkish notary approved ID/passport sample of other nationality for dual nationality and Blue Card candidates,

9. For applicants with Turkish citizenship or dual nationality who have completed their secondary education (high school) abroad with formal education, a certified and verifiable document showing their entry and exit to and from Turkey and the country where they studied during their education period (Combine the transcript / transcript chart and this document with the diploma),

10.Since it is essential to have received education in the relevant country during high school education, for candidates who graduated from the Open Education High School abroad program affiliated to the Ministry of National Education, an approved and verifiable document showing their entry and exit to and from Turkey and the country where they studiedduring the education period (Combine the transcript / transcript chart and this document with the diploma),

11. Bank receipt showing that you have paid the application fee between June 14-June 30, 2024. (The explanation section of the receipt must include the candidate's full name and application membership number.)

A high-resolution “jpeg/png” format photograph taken within the last 3 months must be uploaded to the system.

Uploaded documents must be legible, otherwise the application will not be approved.

Candidates must get at least 200 full points from TRYÖS in order to make a preference (Candidates who are of TRNC nationality, reside in TRNC and completed their secondary education (high school) in TRNC, and candidates who enrolled in colleges and high schools in other countries between 2005-2010 must have a minimum grade of B in three subjects from the GCE AL exam result.).

IMPORTANT NOTE:

AFTER BECOMING A MEMBER, YOU MUST PAY THE APPLICATION FEE IN ORDER TO MAKE A PREFERENCE!

* When making payment, MEMBERSHIP NO, FULL NAME will be written in the explanation section. Otherwise, the application will not be accepted. PREFERENCE FEES MUST BE PAID BETWEEN JUNE 14-JUNE 30 2024.

* Candidates have 5 preference rights.

* Application procedures are done online via the website. Applications by mail, e-mail, cargo or hand delivery of documents will not be accepted.

* Applications of candidates whose documents are missing at the end of the application period and/or who do not meet the application requirements will not be evaluated.

* TRYÖS results without verification code will not be accepted. (During registration, the candidate may be asked to log in individually from the ÖSYM website to confirm the score).

PRINCIPLES OF PREFERENCE APPLICATION

*All candidates will pay the application fee.

*Candidates will make their applications online from the system after depositing the preference application fee to the account numbers given below (The Membership Number and Name-Surname written in the explanation field on the receipt must be the same as in the application).

* After completing the application form in the system and becoming a member by uploading the necessary documents to the system, preference application can be made.

* Candidates who do not deposit the preference application fee and whose documents and information are found to be incomplete will be deemed invalid.

*Bank charges belong to the applicant.

* After applying to the university; the application fees of candidates who withdraw their application, whose application is not evaluated for any reason, who do not meet the application requirements and cannot be placed in a program are not refunded.
