The 11th edition of "Target in Business World: Entrepreneurship & Leadership" event, organized by the Faculty's İşletme Topluluğu and sponsored by Sadık Group, was held at Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Yılmaz Congress and Culture Center. Business and economic leaders met with students in this highly attended event.

The morning session began with Emine Sabancı KAMIŞLI, Vice Chairman of the Board at Esas Holding. KAMIŞLI shared excerpts from her life story and turning points in her career with students. Emphasizing the critical importance of leadership, entrepreneurship, building a strong professional network, and teamwork in professional life, KAMIŞLI provided important insights for young people in charting their career paths.
Cüneyt BATMAZ, Deputy General Manager of Microsoft Turkey Corporate Solutions, addressed artificial intelligence, which sets the agenda in technology. Making a comprehensive presentation from the historical development of artificial intelligence to its current usage areas, BATMAZ explained how to benefit most efficiently from current technologies and the strategic gains of these technologies in career development.
In the afternoon session, Orhan TURAN, Chairman of TÜSİAD Board and Chairman of ODE Insulation, took the stage. TURAN stated that leadership is not just management, but has dimensions of taking responsibility, developing vision, and nurturing team spirit. Referring to the importance of civil society organizations in social development, TURAN advised young people to act with continuous learning and social responsibility awareness.
In the final session, Dr. Osman Cevdet AKÇAY, Vice Governor of the Central Bank of Turkey, met with students. Making a comprehensive evaluation covering macroeconomic topics such as Turkey's monetary policies, inflation dynamics, and reserve management, AKÇAY explained the effects of price stability on sustainable economy. He shared technical and strategic information about the Central Bank's core functions.
In Q&A sessions held at the end of each session, participants had the opportunity to ask their questions about business and economics directly to expert speakers. The event concluded with the Business Club presenting thank-you plaques to the speakers and a group photo session.
