As part of its June sustainability activities, the Sustainability Commission of Pamukkale University Faculty of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation shared an informative video to raise awareness about environmental sustainability and recycling.
The video highlighted that recycling one ton of used paper can prevent the cutting down of 17 mature trees, providing an environmental benefit equivalent to meeting the oxygen needs of approximately 34 people. The message emphasized the importance of conserving natural resources, properly separating waste, and promoting recycling habits as essential steps toward a more sustainable future.
As a faculty, we will continue to support initiatives that enhance environmental awareness and organize activities that contribute to building a more sustainable future.
