The Student Support Unit (SSU) is a student-centred unit that develops and implements projects aimed at meeting students’ academic, psychological, and social needs. By embodying our University’s student-centred approach, the SSU represents a distinctive and valuable institutional strength.

The main support services provided by the SSU include:

  • Academic support: Enhancing students’ academic achievement through academic advising, study skills workshops, and learning strategies.
  • Psychological support: Promoting emotional and psychological well-being through individual counselling, group sessions, and mental health resources.
  • Social support: Supporting students’ social integration through student engagement activities, orientation programmes, and guidance services.
  • Facilitating access to social assistance services: Providing information and guidance regarding scholarships, financial assistance, other social support opportunities, and their application processes.
