A “Library Orientation and Use Training” session was organized for the students of our Faculty by the Pamukkale University Library and Documentation Department. The training was conducted by Lecturer Ümran Kandemir on October 2, 2026, in Lecture Hall K1-43.
The session was attended by our Faculty Dean, Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Kavlak; Vice Dean, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Raziye Şavkın; and Assistant Professor Tuba Can Akman.
During the training, students were provided with information on library membership, opening hours, study areas, and book borrowing procedures. Practical guidance was also provided on searching for resources through the library website and online catalog, locating books in the library, and accessing electronic resources. In addition, a sample resource search was demonstrated through the library website.
The training concluded with a question-and-answer session, during which students’ questions were addressed.
