Another Award for Our Faculty

Research Assistant Dr. Erkan Kıdak from the Department of Labour Economics and Industrial Relations at our Faculty has been named the recipient of the 4th Doğan Avcıoğlu Award.

Dr. Kıdak was deemed worthy of this prestigious award for his doctoral thesis titled "The Labour Process in the Turkish Railway Industry on the Axis of Paternalism and Populism (1960-1980): The Case of Eskişehir Railway Factory", which he prepared under the supervision of our Department faculty member, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hakan Topateş.

We congratulate Dr. Erkan Kıdak, who has earned recognition in the academic community for his work, which offers original contributions to Turkey's industrial history and labour processes, and his thesis advisor, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hakan Topateş, for their success, and we wish them continued achievements in their work.
