FOR OUR STUDENTS:
In order to set up their PAU email accounts on their mobile devices, our students must follow the instructions below.
If they have not changed or reset their password through the Pusula Information System after 05.04.2018, they can complete the setup process 4–5 minutes after changing their password.
The configuration will be performed as shown in the images in the files below. The only difference is that:
In the username field, it should be entered as: username@posta.pau.edu.tr and
IMAP SERVER: outlook.office365.com
PORT: 993
ENCRYPTION/SECURITY METHOD: TLS
SMTP SERVER: smtp.office365.com
PORT: 587
ENCRYPTION/SECURITY METHOD: TLS or STARTTLS
should be selected.
FOR OUR STAFF:
IMAP SERVER: eposta.pau.edu.tr
PORT: 143
ENCRYPTION/SECURITY METHOD: TLS (if an error occurs, please select AUTOMATIC)
SMTP SERVER: eposta.pau.edu.tr
PORT: 587 (during configuration, the port may appear as 27; please correct it manually and set it to 587)

Although the encryption/security method appears not to be selected in the illustrated instructions, please select TLS (accept all certificates).
