Pamukkale University Health Research and Application Centre was established in order to be a pioneer in quality health service by exhibiting a superior image in the region where it is located in the health sector, to be an academic institution that adopts a service understanding that adopts patient and employee satisfaction as a principle, to be a leader in new applications, to ensure satisfaction by providing services in accordance with the needs and expectations of service recipients, to carry out research, development, education and application activities in the field of health. In order to provide the health service needs of our country and our region and to be one of the model hospitals, it was put into the service on 12 August 1994 on Denizli Doctors Street in accordance with the provisions of the Research and Application Centre in accordance with Article 3 of the Higher Education Law No. 2547, as the Education Research and Application Hospital with 41 beds and 155 staff beds in a closed area of 7293 m2.  Subsequently, it has served the people of Denizli and the region with a capacity of 329 beds in a closed area of 31,256 m2 in two different centres and seven different buildings, namely Bayramyeri Campus (Dental Polyclinic) in the city centre and Kınıklı Campus.  All units were gathered in Kınıklı Campus with the completion of the Plaza building.

Pamukkale University Health Research and Application Centre consists of 853 beds, including 735 clinical beds and 118 intensive care beds. The Psychiatric Hospital was started to be constructed in 2013 and opened in 2015. Outpatient services are provided in 5 different buildings, imaging services in 6 different buildings, inpatient treatment services in 7 different buildings, examination and treatment units in 7 different buildings and laboratory services in 4 different buildings.

In our institution, 35 health service areas have been licensed and services are provided. Health services are provided in a total area of 104.948 m². The hospital consists of a total of 11 separate blocks, including the patient care areas. Our hospital has modern laboratories (genetics, pathology, biochemistry, microbiology, tissue typing, haematology, tuberculosis, etc.), modern and cutting-edge technologies imaging services (Nuclear Medicine, Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance, Positron Emission Tomography, Ultrasounds, etc.), examination and diagnostic units (Endoscopy, Bronchoscopy, Gamma Knife, Angiographies (Radiology and Cardiology), Arrhythmia etc.), outpatient treatment units (Chemotherapy Units, Radiation Oncology (Radiotherapy, Tomotherapy), outpatient Infusion Unit, Dialysis Centre), operating theatres, intensive care units and clinics equipped with modern devices. There is a central cooling and central heating system in the whole hospital. Rooms are single or double rooms with refrigerator, TV, WC and bathroom. There are central oxygen and bedside units at the patient bedside.
