THE GREAT BATH
This structure is located at the western entrance of the city and measures 85.45 x 63.36 m. The Great Baths' rooms follow a sequence, from west to east, consisting of the frigidarium (cold room), tepidarium (warm room) and caldarium (hot room). Arched passages enabled passing from one room to the other. The area to the north of the baths, with partially visible borders, is most likely the Gymnasium. The bath structure was built of travertine blocks and dates to the 2nd century CE.
