Individual Psychological Counseling Services (Face-to-Face)

 

 

PDREM provides face-to-face individual psychological counseling services to associate, undergraduate, and graduate students of Pamukkale University. To apply for individual counseling services, you can access the PDREM Appointment System via the Pusula Information System and fill out the application form. For your questions, you may contact the PDREM Secretariat on weekdays between 08.00–12.00 / 13.00–17.00 (Contact: 0258 296 13 42).

The Role of Hopelessness in the Relationship Between Future Anxiety and School Burnout Among University Students / Understanding Young Adults’ Experiences Related to the “NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training)” Perception: A Phenomenological Study Seminars

Seminars were organized on the role of hopelessness in the relationship between future anxiety and school burnout among university students, as well as on understanding young adults’ experiences related to the “NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training)” perception through a phenomenological study.

The seminar titled “Can Artificial Intelligence Replace Mental Health Professionals?” was delivered by Clinical Psychologist Özlem Söylemez.

 

Workshop on Psychosocial Support Activities for University Students: Problems and Solution Proposals

The online “Workshop on Psychosocial Support Activities for University Students: Problems and Solution Proposals” was organized by Marmara University Psychological Counseling and Guidance Practice and Research Center (MARPAM).

 

Traffic Psychology

Lecturer Dr. Turnel Altan from our Center participated online as a guest speaker in the Traffic Psychology course at Bozkurt Vocational School. During the talk on traffic education, students’ questions were answered.

 

 

Denizli University Preference Fair

At the Denizli University Preference Fair, our Center provided information about our university to students who were in the YKS process and answered their questions regarding the admission process.

  

Creative Drama Workshop

In the workshop conducted at our Center under the facilitation of Specialist Psychological Counselor Ercan Altan, activities focused on cohesion, trust, and communication were carried out with participants.

   

 

Art Therapy and Vision Board Workshop

The Art Therapy and Vision Board workshop was held in collaboration with the Pamukkale University Psychology Community, with a presentation by Specialist Psychological Counselor Işıl Özkılıç.

 

 

Awareness Through Tales Workshop

The Awareness Through Tales workshop, led by Associate Professor Sibel Duru, was conducted over a period of five weeks.

 

 

Watercolor Workshop

This workshop was conducted at our Center under the guidance of Lecturer Işıl Özkılıç.

PDREM Introduction – Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University

Within the scope of the institutional experience undergraduate course, Pamukkale University Psychological Counseling and Guidance Application and Research Center (PDREM) was introduced to students of the Department of Psychological Counseling and Guidance at Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University Faculty of Education during a two-hour online meeting. Lecturer Işıl Özkılıç provided information about PDREM’s processes and answered students’ questions.

Within the scope of the institutional experience undergraduate course, Pamukkale University Psychological Counseling and Guidance Application and Research Center (PDREM) was introduced to students of the Department of Psychological Counseling and Guidance at Ege University Faculty of Education during a two-hour online meeting. Emotional Literacy Seminar

On 24.03.2021, a seminar on Emotional Literacy, with Lecturer Turnel ALTAN as the speaker, was held online via Zoom for the parents of students at M.E.B. Acıpayam Kindergarten. Parents were provided withinformation on recognizing, understanding, expressing, and regulating both their own emotions and those of their children. A Q&A session was held with the parents at the end of the seminar.

Adaptation to Distance Education Brochure

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the transition to remote education, a digital brochure prepared by PDREM was published, providing recommendations to enhance students’ academic competencies and information regarding the adaptation process to distance learning. The brochure was uploaded to both the Pamukkale University homepage (pau.edu.tr) and the PDREM website, and was accessed by more than 7,000 Pamukkale University students.

Panel – Is Your Relationship Secure?

Pamukkale Üniversitesi Psikolojik Danışma ve Rehberlik, Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezi ile Kadın Sorunları Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezi iş birliği ile Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Yılmaz Kongre ve Kültür Merkezi Konferans Salonunda 02.03.2020 tarihinde “İlişkin Güvenli mi” adlı bir panel gerçekleştirildi. Saygı duruşu ve İstiklal Marşının okunmasıyla başlayan Panel Programına, Eğitim Fakültesi Dekanı Prof. Dr. Bilge Can, Bölüm Başkanları, akademik personel ve öğrenciler katıldı. Panel programına; PAÜ Psikolojik Danışma ve Rehberlik Eğitimi, Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezi Müdürü ve aynı zamanda Rehberlik ve Psikolojik Danışmanlık Anabilim Dalı Öğretim Üyesi Prof. Dr. Hülya Şahin Baltacı, Sosyoloji Bölümü Öğretim Üyesi Prof. Dr. Türkan Erdoğan, Kadın Sorunları Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezi Müdür Yardımcısı Doç. Dr. Ahu Arıcıoğlu konuşmacı olarak katılmıştır.

 

Psychological Well-Being Group Program

The 10-week group program, held between February 19, 2020, and April 22, 2020, included practices on communication skills, mindfulness, self-compassion, gratitude, empathy, altruism, forgiveness, happiness, social connectedness, and authenticity. The sessions were facilitated by Lecturer Deniz Küçüker. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the final five weeks of the program were conducted via WhatsApp and Zoom. This program was offered free of charge to Pamukkale University students.

 

Psychological Well-Being Group Program

 The 8-week workshop program, organized between February and May 2020, addressed topics such as communication skills, mindfulness, self-compassion, gratitude, empathy, altruism, forgiveness, happiness, social connectedness, and authenticity, under the facilitation of Lecturer Deniz Küçüker. The workshop activities were carried out within the scope of the Young Educators Club events organized by Pamukkale University's Department of Health, Culture, and Sports. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the final four weeks of the program were held online.
