Services We Offer

Orientation Program: Orientation programs are designed to introduce the campus and its facilities, and to support newly enrolled students in their adaptation to university life.

ORY101 (Orientation 101): In addition to the Orientation Program, Orientation 101 (ORY101), developed by PDREM, has been available since September 20, 2021, for all undergraduate and graduate students at Pamukkale University. During the previous fall semester, more than 17.000 students accessed ORY101. The program consists of written and visual materials aimed at supporting students’ development in academic, cultural, physical, and psychological domains. The course is non-credit. ORY101 can be accessed online via the Education Support System (EDS) for 14 weeks.

Online Brochure Series: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this series has been made available in digital format and has been accessed a total of 14,109 times to date. Covering 34 different topics, the series aims to provide support in areas where university students are most likely to experience difficulties. Brochures can be downloaded to your computer or mobile device via the “Documents” section at pau.edu.tr/pdrem.

Face-to-Face Individual Psychological Counseling: Individual psychological counseling services are provided face-to-face. To benefit from this service, you must access the PDREM Appointment System via the Pusula Information System and complete all required application forms. Our secretary will contact you via phone or email; therefore, please ensure that your contact information in the PAU Pusula system is up to date.

 Psychological counseling is a professional support process conducted by qualified specialists to help individuals better understand themselves, increase self-awareness, identify and address their problems, generate solutions, make decisions, enhance their capacities, establish healthy and adaptive relationships, and support personal development. To apply for face-to-face individual counseling, please follow: Pusula → PDREM Appointment System. For further questions, you may contact the PDREM Secretariat on weekdays between 09:00–12:00 and 13:00–17:00 at +90 258 296 13 42.

Face-to-Face Group Counseling: Group counseling aims to help individuals develop greater self-awareness and self-understanding, gain confidence in solving their own problems, better understand others, improve communication skills, acquire new social skills, and develop more independent behaviors. To benefit from this service, you must access the PDREM Appointment System via the Pusula Information System and complete all required application forms.

Face-to-Face Psychoeducation Programs: Psychoeducation includes topics such as developing personal responsibility toward oneself and others, establishing healthy communication and empathy, understanding and interpreting oneself and one’s environment, building a healthy future as an individual, and making informed and conscious decisions based on one’s abilities. In addition to these goals, psychoeducation programs aim to equip individuals, particularly in adulthood, with skills to cope with challenges related to stress, environmental adaptation, and interpersonal relationships. To participate, students must apply through the PDREM Appointment System via the Pusula Information System and complete the required forms.
