The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences delivers its educational programs and research activities within four blocks located on Pamukkale University’s Kınıklı Campus.

Our faculty offers undergraduate programs in 12 departments: Archaeology, Geography, Contemporary Turkish Dialects and Literature, Philosophy, French Language and Literature, English Language and Literature, Cultural Heritage Conservation and Restoration, Psychology, Art History, Sociology, History, and Turkish Language and Literature. Among these, five departments (English Language and Literature, Art History, Sociology, History, and Turkish Language and Literature) provide both Daytime and Evening Education Programs, with teaching processes continuing actively. As of 2022, the number of enrolled students in the faculty exceeds 5,000. The Archaeology, French Language and Literature, English Language and Literature, Cultural Heritage Conservation and Restoration, Psychology, and Sociology departments are in Block A. The Contemporary Turkish Dialects and Literature, Turkish Language and Literature, and History departments are in Block B. The Geography and Philosophy departments are based in Block C, while the Art History Department operates in Block D, where classrooms, academic and administrative offices, and other activities occur.

In addition to the theoretical lessons offered during the academic terms, students have opportunities to complete their practical training through internship programs organized within the departments.

Graduate-level education is available in 11 departments at the master’s level and in 9 departments at the doctoral level. These programs carried out under the Institute of Social Sciences and Institute of Archaeology, provide students with postgraduate education and academic career opportunities.

A team of 154 academic staff, consisting of 38 Professors, 22 Associate Professors, 33 Assistant Professors, 15 Lecturers, and 46 Research Assistants, ensures the quality of education and research.

The İsmail Çetişli Conference Hall, located in Block B, is used for panels, conferences, and symposiums organised by the departments and various events held by student societies.
