As part of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences' Midday Seminar Series, a seminar titled "The Implications of Artificial Intelligence and Its Unpredictable Future" was held.
The seminar, organized on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the Şehit Piyade Teğmen Bekir Can Kerek Conference Hall, was delivered by Prof. Dr. Selçuk Burak HAŞILOĞLU, Head of the Management Information Systems Department.
Prof. Dr. HAŞILOĞLU addressed the social, economic, and ethical dimensions of artificial intelligence technologies, emphasizing that these technologies may generate unpredictable effects in the future. The presentation also examined the broad applications of artificial intelligence, ranging from decision-making processes in business to education and healthcare sectors, illustrated through practical examples.
At the conclusion of the event, participants engaged in discussion with Prof. Dr. HAŞILOĞLU regarding the future of artificial intelligence through their questions.
