Seminar on Quantitative Methods in Real-World Problems and Artificial Intelligence Held as Part of Pamukkale University's "Midday Seminars"

Within the scope of the "Midday Seminars" organized by the Pamukkale University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences (FEAS), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hüseyin KOÇAK, a faculty member of the Department of Business Administration, delivered a presentation titled "Quantitative Methods in Current Real-World Problems" on December 4, 2025, at the Şehit Piyade Teğmen Bekir Can Kerek Conference Hall.

In this presentation, which brought together undergraduate and graduate students with academic staff to support academic integration, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hüseyin KOÇAK addressed the importance of numerical analysis methods in solving complex problems frequently encountered in daily life. The seminar also covered the mathematical structure behind Large Language Models (LLMs), one of the most debated topics in today's technology.

By discussing the role of scientific methods and algorithmic thinking in decision-making processes through applications, the seminar emphasized how theoretical knowledge is adapted to both real-life problems and modern artificial intelligence systems.
