The Department of Labour Economics and Industrial Relations at PAU Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences organized its second "Students & Alumni Meet" event on May 16, 2026, at the FEAS A Block Şehit Piyade Teğmen Bekir Can Kerek Conference Hall.
Ahead of the main program, students, alumni, and academic staff came together during a reception that provided an informal setting for introductions and open conversation.
The formal program opened with remarks by Department Head Prof. Oğuz KARADENİZ. Faculty Dean Prof. Ender COŞKUN also addressed participants, emphasizing the value of student-alumni interaction for professional and career development.
In the main session, alumni spoke in groups, sharing insights on their career paths, internship experiences, the transition from academic study to professional life, and the realities of the workplace. Students had direct access to their graduates, drawing on first-hand accounts to inform their own career planning.
