Artificial Intelligence and Digital Applications Coordination Office

 

The Coordination Office was established within Pamukkale University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences to support the integration of artificial intelligence and digital technologies into academic and administrative processes.

Its scope of activity includes work aimed at the effective and ethical use of artificial intelligence applications in education, teaching, and academic-administrative activities carried out within the faculty, as well as the use, development, and related activities of the Digital Office.

The Coordination Office operates under its Directive, prepared based on the provisions of Higher Education Law No. 2547 and the Regulation on Academic Organization in Universities, and adopted by the Faculty Board decision dated 15.04.2026 and numbered 06/01.

Areas of Activity

 

Guiding the effective and ethical use of artificial intelligence technologies in education, teaching, and academic-administrative processes.

Improving the artificial intelligence literacy of academic and administrative staff.

Ensuring the effective use of the Digital Office and planning for continuous improvement.

Contributing to the faculty by monitoring developments related to digital applications.

Duties and Responsibilities

 

It guides the use of artificial intelligence tools in academic and administrative processes in line with the principles of ethics, data security, and academic integrity. It prepares good-practice examples and guidance documents for courses and presents recommendations regarding the curriculum.

It organizes training sessions, seminars, and workshops for staff, as well as applied micro-training activities on needed topics; it carries out activities that increase awareness and competence.

Through the appointed Digital Office Officer, it organizes the use of the office, ensures appointment and equipment inventory tracking, and coordinates project applications within the scope of BAP and similar support programs.

It monitors digital tools that can be used in academic and administrative processes, provides information, and conducts research and encouragement activities for acquiring usage licenses and supporting in-house development.

It prepares the annual action plan covering the fall and spring semesters and the end-of-term report; it monitors and evaluates Digital Office usage data.
