English Language and Literature Department Monthly Idea/Art/Literature Magazine
Halo Literature Magazine is the monthly idea, art, and literature magazine of Pamukkale University’s English Language and Literature department. Students contribute their works to our magazine by presenting their accomplishments outside of school, providing them with an opportunity to develop themselves.
Who Are We?
We are students of the English Language and Literature department at Pamukkale University. Inspired by our department, we produce content every month within the framework of art and literature topics, aiming to share what we have learned, teach, and raise awareness.
Who Can Participate?
The doors of our magazine are not only open to students of the English Language and Literature department but to anyone interested in literature! If you wish, you can apply to be a writer every month, or you can apply as a guest writer and contribute to the magazine occasionally.
I want to join the writer team, how can I apply?
We have two separate writer groups:
1- Permanent Writers:
The applicant who wants to join the magazine team and is willing to write every month initially participates in a trial period with us for a month. Thus, the applicant witnesses how the magazine operates, what we do, how the magazine is published, and how the system progresses. At the end of the month, we evaluate each month in our meetings and the person informs us whether they will continue with us or not. If they decide to continue, they become our permanent writer and join our team!
2- Guest Writers:
Friends who say “I have my own busy schedule/I can’t keep up with your schedule, but I would like to write occasional articles on relevant topics” instead of joining the magazine team become our guest writers; after all, we enjoy hosting you 😊 You can reach us via our Instagram page or our email address, where you can also express your suggestions and requests!
