The Mechanical Engineering Department within Pamukkale Üniversitesi Teknoloji Fakültesi provides a strong engineering foundation while emphasizing hands-on practice. The program is taught in Turkish and offered as regular (daytime) education; course contents are shaped with input from the advisory board, and a theory–practice balance is a core principle.
To graduate, students are expected to complete 240 ECTS and successfully complete three mandatory internships (20 workdays each, totaling 60 workdays). The curriculum is structured over 8 semesters, aligned with engineering faculty curricula, and is reviewed regularly together with industry-based advisory boards.
Examples of practical facilities include a CNC Lab (CNC lathe/milling), a Welding Lab (e.g., TIG/MIG), and a Rapid Prototyping Lab (3D printer, pin-on-disc wear tester). In addition, industry services such as consultancy/reporting/technical training are also provided within the scope of revolving funds.
