Pamukkale Üniversitesi Teknoloji Fakültesi, the faculty structure was put into operation in 2011 with five departments.
The Mechanical Engineering Department began admitting students in the 2012–2013 academic year (then named Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, now Mechanical Engineering) and the department name was later updated accordingly.
