The Department of Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Services, Culinary Arts Program, started providing education in the 2013-2014 academic year and continues its educational activities. The Evening Culinary Arts Program of the Department of Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Services started education in the 2015-2016 academic year and was closed in the 2024-2025 academic year after graduating its last students. The Culinary Arts Program transitioned to the ISME (In-Service Vocational Training) system, i.e., the 3+1 system, as of the Fall semester of the 2025-2026 academic year. Our department has 1 practical kitchen consisting of 8 units and 2 classrooms. Additionally, our college has 1 computer laboratory, 1 library, and 1 conference hall. Our department has 3 experienced faculty members.

The Culinary Arts Program in the Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Services Department aims to meet the demand for qualified mid-level personnel in the service and tourism sector. In this sense, our department trains young and dynamic students who can prepare and serve food and beverages in hotels, restaurants, food factories, fast-food establishments, bakeries, etc., who can implement a business plan, have a well-developed sense of smell and taste, work quickly and systematically, are attentive and meticulous, have a high sense of responsibility, pay attention to hygiene and health issues, are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills, and can compete internationally, thus preparing them for the service and tourism sector.
