"Hosted by Çukurova University in Adana, the 'International Congress on Spatial Planning and Disaster Management' (ISPDM '25) brought the scientific world together this year with the main theme of 'Earthquakes and Urbanization'. Participating in the congress, Prof. Dr. Pınar Savaş Yavuzçehre shared her current work prepared on disaster management and urban planning.
Prof. Dr. Yavuzçehre presented her paper titled 'An Institutional and Spatial-Based Evaluation Regarding the Use of Open and Green Spaces for Sheltering Purposes in Earthquake Management: The Case of Denizli Pamukkale District', co-authored with Dilçek Özdeş Gönendik, in the session held on February 2, 2026."
