In this context, the Provincial Director of the Social Security Institution (SGK), Abdullah MERSİN, in his speech to students at the seminar themed "Social Security Awareness," stated, "The Social Security Institution Law was adopted on May 16, 2006. Therefore, the week encompassing May 16th is celebrated as Social Security Week every year. The aim of the week is to raise awareness among our stakeholders and society in the field of social security, and to inform our citizens about the activities carried out by our institution." He gave brief information about social security, emphasized the importance of registered employment, and concluded his speech with the slogan, "A secure future begins with an informed present." At the end of the seminar, a "Certificate of Appreciation" was presented to Denizli SGK Provincial Director Abdullah MERSİN by the Director of Pamukkale University Serinhisar Vocational School, Assoc. Dr. Engin TAN, and to Denizli SGK Personnel Chief Anıl İNCE by the Head of the Property Protection and Security Department, Social Security Program, Lecturer Dr. Ahmet ADALI, for their contributions.
