Evaluation of the 2024 academic year for the programs under the Property Protection and Security Department.

Decisions, Opinions, and Suggestions

1- In line with the request for an increase in quotas included in the proposals for 2023, a request for an increase in quotas for the Social Security program was made for 2024, and the quota number was increased from 30 to 40 by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). It was also stated that a quota request of 60 students was made for 2025.

2- Information was provided regarding the curriculum of the Social Security program.

It was decided to seek further feedback during the 2025 curriculum development process.

3- Information about our department was provided, including details about the active Social Security Program and the inactive Civil Defense and Firefighting Program within our department.

It was suggested that a proposal be made to admit students to the Civil Defense and Firefighting Program, which is currently open but has not yet admitted students (inactive).

4- Information was provided about the career days, the first of which was held this year. It is suggested that, as in previous years, seminars, conferences, and meetings should continue to be organized for students during the academic year, led by experienced professionals from the sector.
