Our department's faculty member, Prof. Dr. Ayşen HÖL, met with students at various schools as part of the TÜBİTAK Science Talks program. The talks, held on March 30, 2026, at 10:30 AM at Kızılcabölük Hanife and Ahmet Paralı Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, at 2:00 PM on the same day at İncilipınar Şehit Burhan Acar Imam Hatip Middle School, and on April 27, 2026, at Eskiköy Primary School, focused on the topic of "Environmental Effects and Determination of Heavy Metals." The events provided information on the effects of heavy metals on the environment and human health, as well as methods for analyzing these pollutants. The talks were conducted in an interactive environment aimed at increasing students' scientific awareness.
