History
Pamukkale University, Arts and Sciences Faculty, Chemistry Department was founded in 1994. The department admitted the first students in the same academic year and started education activities with two faculty members.
Currently, there are 10 Professors, 4 Associate Professors, 4 Assistant Professors, 1 Research Assistant, 1 Laboratory Technician in our department. In addition, a research assistant, another university staff but assigned with 35th item, continues her doctoral studies in our department.
The Department of Chemistry continues educational and scientific activities by continuously strengthening its dynamic teaching staff and with modern laboratory facilities, technical equipment and physical infrastructure.
Department of Chemistry educates the qualified, modern and innovative scientists besides chemists needed by industry through graduate and undergraduate programmes, respectively.
