The Doctoral Program in Philosophy and Religious Studies was established by the Higher Education Council on June 29, 2022, and began accepting students in the Fall Semester of the 2022-2023 Academic Year.

The Doctoral Program in Basic Islamic Sciences was established by the Higher Education Council on August 20, 2025, and began accepting students in the Spring Semester of the 2025-2026 Academic Year.
