SUPPORT SERVICES BRANCH DIRECTORATE

INTRODUCTION:

The justification for the establishment of the Support Services Branch Directorate, which is under the Department of Administrative and Financial Affairs, is formed by the duties assigned to our Directorate in accordance with Article 36 (b) of the Decree Law No. 124 on the Administrative Organization of Higher Education Institutions and Higher Education Institutions.

The duties of the Support Services Department are as follows;
· a) To provide cleaning services,
· b) To perform similar assigned tasks.

At our university’s Kınıklı campus, there are educational and service units such as the Rectorate service building where the Rectorate units are located, six faculties, five vocational schools, institutes, sports facilities, dormitories, social facilities, the Congress and Culture Center, Security Directorate, Central Dining Hall, and Heating Center. The services listed above and similar tasks to be assigned in these units will be carried out by the Support Services Branch Directorate.

The Support Services Branch Directorate consists of three departments: Technical Services, Cleaning and Maintenance, and Transportation and Transport Services. These departments will carry out their duties in accordance with the laws, regulations, circulars concerning their units, and the directives and specifications prepared at our university for these tasks.

ORGANIZATION CHART

1- CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE SERVICES UNIT:

Our cleaning services unit is operated by its personnel. The accounting procedures of the cleaning services unit are carried out by the Purchasing Branch Directorate.

DUTIES OF THE CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE SERVICES UNIT:
· The cleaning of all indoor and outdoor areas belonging to our university’s Rectorate and its units is carried out and ensured.
· Performing all transportation tasks arising from settlement.
· Arrangement and organization of places where university events such as congresses, conferences, ceremonies, and memorial days will be held,
· Carrying out unit archive operations,
· Following up all affairs of the dormitories,
· Performing other duties assigned by the president and branch director.
