Food engineering department provides educational and research activities under faculty of engineering. There are mainly two sub-divisions which are food science and food technology. The scientific areas carried out at these subdivisions are food microbiology, unit operations of food engineering, dairy technology, meat technology, cereal technology, fruit and vegetable processing technology, lipid technology and biotechnology.
