Our institute was established by the Decision of the Council of Ministers dated 04.04.2011 and numbered 2011/1595. With the decisions of the Institute of Educational Sciences, dated 10/01/2012 and numbered 01/1, and the Institute Board of Directors, dated 06/02/2012 and numbered 01/1, Educational Management, Inspection, Planning and Economics doctorate, with or without thesis; Primary Education doctorate, Primary Education with thesis, Preschool Education with thesis, Science Education with thesis, Social Studies Education with thesis, Primary Mathematics Education with thesis; Music Education with thesis, Art Education with thesis; Students were transferred from the Institute of Social Sciences and the Institute of Natural and Applied Sciences to Turkish Language Education (with thesis) and English Language Education (with thesis) master's programs.

      Council of Higher Education; By the decision of the Executive Board dated 09.03.2016, Primary Mathematics Education non-thesis master's program; By the decision of the Executive Board dated 14.03.2018, Doctorate in Preschool Education; By the decision of the Executive Board dated 20.02.2019, Physical Education and Sports Teaching PhD, English Language Education PhD, Music Education PhD; Family Counseling master's degree with thesis by the decision of the Executive Board dated 12.09.2019; By the decision of the Executive Board dated 25.03.2020, Classroom Education PhD, Turkish Education PhD, Science Education PhD; With the decision of the Executive Board dated 01.07.2020, Preschool Education non-thesis, Science Education non-thesis, Turkish Education non-thesis and Social Studies Education non-thesis master's programs were opened.

       Following the restructuring of the Faculties of Education by the decision of the Higher Education Executive Board dated 15.06.2016, our institute continues postgraduate education and training in 7 departments, including 14 thesis master's degrees, 9 doctoral and 4 non-thesis master's degrees. There are total of ......... students. During the ............ education period, ...... doctorate ....... master's degree with thesis and ....... master's degree without thesis .... ....... students were accepted. Our institute has graduated from ........ so far.

      Our institute does not have its own independent building. It operates on the fourth floor of the Faculty of Education building. The classrooms and practice areas of the Faculty of Education are used to conduct the courses.

      In our institute, the activities of the departments and postgraduate education are carried out by the faculty members of the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Sports Sciences.
