Mission

The mission of the Department of Biomedical Engineering has its foundation in that of Pamukkale University. Thus, we seek to:

  • prepare our students for lives of skilled and ethical service to their communities by creating a free and open learning environment that encourages their intellectual growth
  • expand their scientific point of view

    As biomedical engineers, our unique mission is to:

  • establish new technologies for the improvement of human health and health care
  • create new knowledge at the interface between engineering and biomedical science

Academicians in our department work closely with medical doctors to identify critical health problems and solve those problems using our technical expertise. We engage with talented and motivated students in every aspect, imparting to them the spirit of our mission as we prepare them for future as effective, knowledgeable, and ethical leaders in every job environment and in life.

Vision

Through its faculty and graduates, the Pamukkale University Department of Biomedical Engineering is a driving force in creating and sharing engineering knowledge and novel biomedical technologies that are both innovative and improve the condition of human life through the advancement of clinical care and biomedical sciences.
