VOCATIONAL TRAINING IN WORKPLACE

Students enrolled in engineering programs at the Faculty of Technology complete 7 semesters of their total 8-semester education at the faculty, and 1 semester is compulsory and spent in the industrial sector under the name of "Professional Training in the Workplace" to strengthen their practical skills.

The aim of on-the-job vocational training is to enable students to become closely acquainted with institutions and organizations related to their field, to learn the hierarchical structure, responsibilities, relationships, and workplace discipline within these institutions and organizations, to reinforce the knowledge and skills acquired during the education and training process, to obtain new knowledge and skills, to improve their ability to work harmoniously with other personnel in the work environment, and to learn about and utilize new technological products and opportunities in the sector.

Important Warnings for Students

1. The application schedule is published on the Faculty and Department websites at the beginning of each term.  Applications will only be accepted within the announced date range, and students   must complete their applications on time and submit  their signed and stamped vocational training forms before the final deadline.

2. Annex-3 (Agreement)  must be completed electronically.

3. The format for the On-the-Job Vocational Training File is attached.  The file should be completed electronically, and necessary images should be added digitally to the pages. The file will contain a total of 14 reports, one for each week. A report may consist of more than one page. At the end of the term, a printed copy of the file should be submitted in a spiral-bound volume with a transparent cover.

Businesses that wish to pay students and benefit from incentives during the IME period;

 If a business wishes to benefit from the incentive by paying a student a salary (not less than 30% of the net minimum wage), it must submit the documents listed below to us (Pamukkale University Faculty of Technology Dean's Office, Kınıklı Campus, Pamukkale/Denizli).

1- Bank receipt proving payment to the student,

2- A photocopy of the internship contract form between the company and the student.

3- A petition signed by the business stating their desire to benefit from the incentive (the petition must include the business's address and contact information, tax identification number, number of employees, and the business's IBAN number). 

Businesses wishing to benefit from the incentive must submit the required documents to us via mail, in person, or courier. (Paid-in shipments are not accepted.)
