According to the Pamukkale University Undergraduate Education and Training Regulations, every student in the Biomedical Engineering Department is required to complete an internship in accordance with the provisions of these application principles in official or private institutions in Turkey/abroad and/or in laboratories and workshops within the Faculty, as deemed appropriate by the Commission, in order to graduate.

The aim of the internship is to enhance our students' practical work skills, which complement the engineering knowledge they acquire theoretically during their undergraduate studies, through hands-on work in public or private institutions.

Workplace training, workshops, laboratories, and similar activities specified in the curriculum and conducted during the study period are not included in the internship. Students in the department must have completed at least two semesters of education to be eligible to begin their internships. Students enrolled in the department through the Vocational and Technical Secondary Education Quota (MTOK) will complete their internships after successfully completing the Scientific Preparatory Program and after the first two semesters.
