Computer Engineering Department, the structure of computer systems, developing and giving training in effective methods of use of these systems, conduct research, contemporary these issues, theoretical and cultivate their computer engineers at the international level equipped with practical knowledge, keep abreast of scientific and technological developments, Turkey's needs also mindful of was established to provide a modern engineering education at a universal level.

Pamukkale University Computer Engineering Department started its undergraduate education with the first students in 2003-2004 academic year. In this way, Pamukkale University Computer Engineering Department aims to educate Computer Engineers who are able to produce solutions, keep fresh information and keep up with the developments.

Computer Engineering Department, which starts its education with a computer slogan and most of them have a master's degree and a doctorate degree, conducts all technical courses in the laboratory. Departmental laboratories provide free study opportunities on weekends to enable students to repeat their lessons, to do their homework and to do their projects outside the classroom.

The dormitory facilities are provided to students enrolled in our university. There are social facilities and sports hall, tennis, basketball and football fields where our students can benefit from sports activities.
The Department of Computer Engineering has adopted the principle of putting its students into business life equipped with the latest technology of the day. Therefore, our students are provided with up-to-date training in the following fields:

* Computer Software and Hardware
* Computer Networks and Architecture
* Database Management and Modeling
* Web Technologies
* GIS and Urban Information Systems
*Artificial intelligence

The department began taking graduate students in 2002-2003 Spring semester.

Successful students who prefer our department are provided with scholarship or part-time work by various institutions.
