Our department, which started its undergraduate education by admitting its first students in the 2003–2004 academic year, graduated its first students in June 2007. The department aims to train Computer Engineers who are dynamic, unafraid of tackling challenges and solving problems, who keep their knowledge up-to-date, follow developments closely, and meet global standards. Additionally, our department has been offering Master’s programs since the 2002–2003 academic year.
The Computer Engineering Department, which began education with the slogan "a computer for every student" and a team of expert educators in their respective fields, conducts all practical courses in a laboratory environment. To enable students to review what they have learned, complete their assignments, and work on their projects, the department provides 24/7 free access to its laboratories.
Education is conducted in classrooms of various sizes, providing faculty members the opportunity to get to know each student more closely. This flexibility also allows students to access their instructors whenever needed. Undergraduate and graduate students are provided with up-to-date education in the following fields:
- Computer Software
- Database Management and Modeling
- Computer Hardware
- Computer Networks and Architecture
- Cryptology
- Web Technologies
- Artificial Intelligence
- Image Processing
