Office Management and Executive Assistant Training
GENERAL INFORMATION
The Office Management and Executive Assistant Training, within the Office Services and Secretarial Department of Pamukkale University, Acıpayam Vocational School, was established in 2012 and began offering associate degree programs in the 2013-2014 academic year. Until the 2023-2024 academic year, the program operated with four semesters of coursework and a 30-day summer internship. Subsequently, it transitioned to a model with three semesters of coursework and one semester of on-the-job training. The education program lasts four semesters, totaling two years. The language of instruction is Turkish. There is no preparatory class. The program has expanded its teaching staff over time and currently has one expert faculty member and three lecturers. The program has a total enrollment capacity of 40 students. Students who successfully complete the compulsory and elective courses in the program (totaling 120 ECTS credits) as well as their compulsory internships, and achieve a weighted grade point average of at least 2.25 out of 4.00, will be awarded an Associate's Degree in Office Management and Executive Assistantship.
PROGRAM ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Admission to the Office Management and Executive Assistantship Training is based on the ranking of preferences in the TYT score type of the Higher Education Institutions Examination conducted by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). Students who obtain a sufficient score in the university entrance exam and choose our program are entitled to enroll in the Office Management and Executive Assistantship Associate's Degree program.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
The objective of the Office Management and Executive Assistantship Program is; The aim is to train high-level office staff, office managers, and executive assistants equipped with the knowledge and skills to meet the needs of the rapidly changing and developing business world. These individuals will be proficient in computer use, professionally employ office management principles and methods, possess strong interpersonal skills, be able to use all types of office technology, and have knowledge of modern protocols. The Office Management and Executive Assistant Program strives to train effective employees who assist and facilitate the work of managers and senior administrators.
STUDENT PROFILE
Candidates wishing to study in the Office Management and Executive Assistant program should be proficient in computer use, keep up-to-date with current developments, possess strong interpersonal skills, have effective communication abilities, and possess eloquent speaking and self-expression skills.
ACADEMIC ADVANCEMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Students who successfully complete the Office Management and Executive Assistant Program can take the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) administered by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). Success scores are determined by considering the exam scores and academic grade point averages of the candidates. CALL CENTER SERVICES PROGRAM
GENERAL INFORMATION
Pamukkale University, Acıpayam Vocational School, Office Services and Secretarial Department, Call Center Services Program, started its education in the 2015-2016 academic year by admitting associate degree students. Until the 2022-2023 academic year, the program continued its educational activities with four semesters of coursework and a 30-day summer internship. After that, it switched to a three-semester coursework and one-semester on-the-job training model. Education lasts for 4 semesters, totaling 2 years. The language of instruction is Turkish. There is no preparatory class. The program's teaching staff consists of three expert lecturers. The general quota for the program is 60. Students who successfully complete the compulsory and elective courses in the program (totaling 120 ECTS credits) and their mandatory internships, and achieve a weighted grade point average of at least 2.25 out of 4.00, will be awarded an Associate's Degree in Call Center Services.
