Vocational Schools provide associate degree education aimed at meeting the demand for intermediate-level professionals in specific occupational fields. Our Vocational School was established on July 5, 2002, with the aim of supplying qualified and in-demand workforce capable of responding to employment needs through effective vocational education, and has continued its educational activities in line with this objective since its establishment.
Pamukkale University Acıpayam Vocational School began its educational activities in the 2011–2012 Academic Year with the Department of Food Processing / Dairy Technology Program, and admitted students to four additional departments in the 2013–2014 Academic Year. The Department of Office Services and Secretarial Studies / Office Management and Executive Assistant Program, the Department of Finance, Banking and Insurance / Public Finance Program, and the Department of Veterinary Medicine / Laboratory and Veterinary Health Program admitted students for the first time in the 2013–2014 Academic Year.
In the following academic period, Acıpayam Vocational School initiated the necessary procedures to open new departments and programs, and as a result of these efforts, the request to establish two new departments was approved. Accordingly, the Department of Office Services and Secretarial Studies / Call Center Services Program and the Department of Property Protection and Security / Private Security and Protection Program were incorporated into Acıpayam Vocational School. The Department of Property Protection and Security / Private Security and Protection Program admitted its first students in the 2014–2015 Academic Year. The Call Center Services Program, under the Department of Office Services and Secretarial Studies, was launched in the Spring Semester of the 2014–2015 Academic Year and admitted students for the first time in the Fall Semester of the 2015–2016 Academic Year.
During the 2018–2019 Academic Year, the Department of Child Care and Youth Services / Child Development Program admitted students for the first time. In 2022–2023, the Footwear Design and Production Program was established under the Department of Textile, Clothing, Footwear and Leather, and student admissions were scheduled to begin in the 2023–2024 Academic Year.
As of the 2023–2024 Academic Year, Pamukkale University Acıpayam Vocational School comprises eight (8) departments and nine (9) programs, with educational activities continuing in eight (8) of these programs.
As of the 2022–2023 Academic Year, the 3+1 Workplace Education System was launched in five programs—Call Center Services, Child Development, Laboratory and Veterinary Health, Public Finance, and Private Security and Protection. Starting from the 2023–2024 Academic Year, Workplace-Based Professional Training was also implemented in the Footwear Design and Production, Office Management and Executive Assistant, and Dairy Technology programs, thereby applying the 3+1 system across all departments and programs.
